DOCUMENTING LIFE ON FILM
13th November – 4th December 2018

From harnessing the initial desire to explore an idea through to pitching a story, filmmaker Lucy Cohen‘s (The Kingdom of Us) course will focus on building relationships with contributors, filming in intimate situations, developing narratives over time and drawing out engaging themes. USING VIDEO FOR ETHNOGRAPHIC RESEARCH
24th November – 16th December 2018

This course – led by filmmaker and Ipsos MORI ethnographer Pinny Grylls – teaches students how to capture authentic human behaviour on video, generating more insightful and meaningful footage for ethnographic research, starting with basic camera skills and editing. Bookings are available here.
