News: Open City Documentary Festival – Online Archive

ratio

This year’s festival will be our tenth edition. Ahead of the festival, we had been thinking about ways we could commemorate and celebrate the nine editions that preceded it. While at the moment, this, like many activities, seems somewhat of a strange thing to be doing, looking wistfully back to the past rather than worrying about the future has felt like a nice thing to do. Browsing through all those previous festivals, and thinking about the filmmakers and artists that attended and the films that were showcased, we thought it might be useful to consolidate what we found.

Below, please enjoy a (fairly comprehensive but probably incomplete) list of every short, mid or feature-length film that we found that is available to watch online at home via a streaming platform, either for free or through a video-on-demand service (in the UK). Many great films that were screened are not accessible in this fashion, but as you can see below, lots are. For those at home looking for something to watch right now or sometime later, find plentiful options below.

If you are an alumni filmmaker and we missed your film, please let us know and we will add it below.
