A sonic archive building workshop, focused on collecting and connecting echoes from revolutionary movements across borders and time. Together we will build and work from a bank of downloaded and recorded materials that draw on different acts of resistance through historical events, political perspectives, personal experiences. We will be using translation, transmutation and collage as tools to explore what solidarity across borders can sound like.

This workshop is aimed at people with personal experience of uprisings, from countries with histories of recent revolution, or specific interest in these histories. No prior experience in editing or sound work is required, however we ask for a short expression of interest to attend.
