We are proud to announce the jurors for the film competitions at Open City Documentary Festival 2021.

There are four film competitions for 2021, and each has a cash prize attached.

The jurors for the Open City Award and Emerging Filmmaker Award will be: Matthew Barrington (researcher and curator); Hyun Jin Cho (film curator); Elena Gorfinkel (film scholar and critic); Sonali Joshi (curator, access specialist and subtitler); and Lucy Parker (filmmaker and educator).

The jurors for the UK Short Award and International Short Award will be: Maeve Brennan (artist and filmmaker); Qila Gill (film programmer and producer); Clive James Nwonka (lecturer in Film and Literature); Adam Pugh (curator, writer and designer); and Róisín Tapponi (film curator, programmer and writer).

The UK Short Award is supported by the British Council.
