The relationship between the producer and the director of a film can make or break a project, and it can feel like trying to find your soulmate when it comes to sharing the filmmaking process. So how do you find your perfect match? We’ll be joined by a panel of filmmakers from both sides of the team to examine the importance of communication in collaboration, how to create a shared creative vision, and strategies for resolving conflict in this most sacred of unions.

For the session, we will be joined by director Juan Pablo González and producers Ilana Coleman and Jamie Gonçalves (Caballerango) as well as director Lucy Cohen and producer Julia Nottingham (Kingdom of Us). The session will be hosted by Carol Nahra.
