Open City Documentary Festival 2018 Accreditation

Make the most of your time at Open City Documentary Festival and register for accreditation to access events, screenings and networking opportunities throughout the festival from 4th  - 9th September 2018. Our delegates get access to films, talks and networking opportunities throughout the festival. We offer discounted accreditation for students as well as complimentary press accreditation.

Open City Documentary Festival creates an open space in London to nurture and champion the art of creative documentary and non-fiction filmmakers. Our Industry events programme is designed to give filmmakers and those working with documentary insight, support and inspiration through talks, masterclasses and networking opportunities with industry professionals.

INDUSTRY ACCREDITATION

Regardless of what stage you are at with your filmmaking career, our industry accreditation allows you to take full advantage of our programme and stay up to date with the latest developments in the industry. Suitable for aspiring documentarians looking to take the next step as well as industry professionals looking for creative reinvigoration, our delegates receive access to films, talks and networking opportunities throughout the festival. Industry accreditation provides free access to:

  • Ticket requests for public screenings and daily rush queue (subject to availability)

  • Invitation to Opening Night Gala

  • All workshops, masterclasses and panel events running throughout the festival including VR talks and our dedicated Audio Day.

  • Press & Industry screenings

  • Open City Surgeries: one-to-one meetings with Industry figures TBA (limited availability)

  • Festival Video Library (located in Festival Hub throughout the festival dates)

  • Daily networking socials and parties

Industry Accreditation costs £60 but we are currently offering an early-bird rate of £45 until Monday 9th July 2018.

The deadline for accreditation is Monday 27th August 2018 (we cannot guarantee the processing of any application submitted after this date).

STUDENT ACCREDITATION

We also offer accreditation for university undergraduate and graduate students (including those who are graduating in 2018). This type of accreditation grants free access to all of the events in the industry programme happening throughout the festival. Students also get access to the festival’s Video Library. Please note that student accreditation does not guarantee access to film screenings, and that it is subject to proof of status with Student ID upon collecting the pass. Student accreditation gets you free access to:

  • Daily networking socials and parties

Student Accreditation costs £30. The deadline for accreditation is Monday 27th August 2018 (we cannot guarantee the processing of any application submitted after this date).

PRESS ACCREDITATION

Press Accreditation for Open City Documentary Festival 2018 is now open. Please note, Press Accreditation is restricted to critics and journalists.

The Press Accreditation gives you access to and includes:

  • Ticket requests for public screenings and daily rush queue (subject to availability)

  • All workshops, masterclasses and panel events running throughout the festival including VR talks and our dedicated Audio Day.

  • Festival Video Library (located in Festival Hub throughout the festival dates)

  • Press & Industry screenings

  • Press kits

  • Festival goodie bag and festival catalogue

  • Detailed guest list of talent attending

  • Daily networking socials and parties
