We have plenty of courses open for bookings for autumn starts, all priced affordably and all taking place within UCL. Running for the first time, a course with Ludovica Fales and Adele Tulli.

360 SPATIAL AUDIO PRODUCTION (INTRODUCTION / ADVANCED) – OCT 11TH – NOV 11TH
In this course, students will learn how to create soundtracks for 360 degree videos. It covers all aspects of 360 spatial audio recording, mixing, and exporting for delivery on multiple platforms

VISUAL ANTHROPOLOGY AND THE CITY – OCT 15TH – DEC 3RD
With Dr Barbara Knorpp, ‘Visual Anthropology and the City’ looks at documentaries on the city, covering everyone from Chantal Akerman to Agnes Varda, Jonas Mekas and James Benning.

SHOOTING DOCUMENTARY: AN INTRODUCTION – OCT 19TH – NOV 2ND
Through hands-on exercises of increasing complexity, on this three-day course with Isis Thompson students will learn the camera skills needed to shoot and create documentary films.

INVESTIGATIONS AND APPROPRIATIONS IN ETHNOGRAPHIC FILM – OCT 21ST – DEC 9TH
Led by curator, writer and lecturer Helen de Witt, This short course will investigate strategies of exploration and representation through experimental, ethnographic and documentary film

MAKING RADIO – OCT 30TH – NOV 27TH
Led by BBC reporter and radio producer Chloe Hadjimatheou, this course provides the skills needed to start record and put together an audio documentary, podcast or radio programme.

CINEMA OF THE MARGINS – NOV 4TH TO DEC 9TH
Led by Ludovica Fales and Adele Tulli, this course looks  at those strands in the history of global cinema that question and critique dominant power, ideologies and institutions in society.
